Wardwoven Chests are additional chests you can find within Vaults in Diablo 4 Season 3 that reward you with legendary items and other lucrative rewards like Governing Stones, which you can equip in your Seneschal and Tuning Stones to amplify their effect further. Unlike the reward chest that players get at the end of Vaults in Diablo 4, opening the Wardwoven Chests requires special charges of blessing.

As a result, many players are unable to open the Wardwoven Chests in the game and fail to get some high-tier rewards at the end of their Vault run. If you are one such player, keep reading our guide as we explain how to open the Wardwoven Chests in Diablo 4 Season 3.

You can open Wardwoven Chests using Zoltun's Warding, which you can obtain from Shrines found at the beginning of the Vaults in exchange for Pearls of Warding. You can get these by defeating Heralds of Malphas, which you can spawn at Arcane Tremors using Elemental Core and Shattered Stone.

You can find the Shrines early on when you enter a Vault in Diablo 4. They also appear on the mini-map. Interact with them to exchange a Pearl of Warding to obtain three Zoltun's Warding. Interacting again will consume another Pearl of Warding and give you another three Zoltun's Warding, making the count six.

Depending on the World Tier, you require a different amount of Zoltun's Warding to open the Wardwoven Chests. That being said, while getting the Zoltun's Warding is easy when you already have farmed Pearls of Warding, keeping it intact is where the real challenge lies.

The Vaults in Diablo 4 Season 3 are full of traps you must avoid, or you will lose the stack of Zoltun's Warding. Each time you get hit with a trap inside the Vault, you lose one stack of Zoltun's Warding. Since the Wardwoven Chests are at the end of the Vault, you must be cautious while progressing.
