Even in the furthest corners of the internet, you’d be hard-pressed to have missed the rise of Palworld, so you may be wondering if the game will be coming to PlayStation 5 or Nintendo Switch – and we’re here to help you find out.

Despite its increasing number of controversies over the potential use of AI or its character creator, it’s clear that the game that’s sold over 5 million copies in its first week is a tour de force that isn’t stopping yet, and that’s just on the platforms is currently available on.

Is Palworld coming to PS5?

At the time of writing, there’s no word on if Palworld is coming to PlayStation consoles. It is currently only available on PC and Xbox consoles.

However, given the immense success of the game in terms of sales, I think it’s fair to say never say never, especially with Shuhei Yoshida, Head of Independent Developer Initiative at Sony Interactive Entertainment offering his congratulations in a recent X (formerly Twitter) post.

Is Palworld coming to Nintendo Switch?

I think it’s safe to assume that Palworld won’t be coming to the Nintendo Switch anytime soon, especially given the questions around the origin of some of its designs and how closely associated they are with Pokémon.

The Pokémon Company has also released a statement indicating that they are looking into whether or not Palworld is in any way infringing on the Pokémon property. So for those hoping to play Palworld on the Switch, I wouldn’t hold your breath.

That’s everything you need to know about whether Palworld will be making its way to PS5 or Nintendo Switch. If you’re looking for more guides on Palworld, be sure to check out our Palworld homepage, where you’ll find plenty of guides like where to find Astegon and how to get guns and ammo from.
