The League of Legends 12.21 patch notes are here and they bring with them a wide array of balance changes, bug fixes, and most importantly, a whole new Champion. There's quite a lot that has been included in the League of Legends 12.21 patch notes, so we've broken it down into different sections to make it easier for you to find what you're looking for. 

The main bulk of the new additions and changes come to Champions, but there are some general balance changes and bug fixes, alongside a suite of new skins for you to look at.

League of Legends 12.21 Patch Notes: Champions

K'Sante

The Pride of Nazumah, K'Sante will be embarking onto the Champion roster on November 3, giving players a tank that can bring a fight to even the strongest duelists on Summoner's Rift. 

Check out the official K'Sante rundown for more in-depth information, but if you just want to find out his abilities, then have a look at the list below:

  • Passive - Dauntless Instinct
    • Damaging abilities mark enemies for a short duration. Attacking marked enemies consumes the mark to deal damage plus max health physical damage.
    • All Out: Attacking a marked enemy instead deals physical damage and additional max health true damage.
  • Q - Ntofo Strikes
    • Slam your weapon, dealing physical AoE damage, and briefly slowing affected targets. If an enemy is hit, gain a stack for a short duration. At two stacks, K'Sante fires a shockwave instead that pulls enemies.
    • All Out: Ability cooldown reduced, but hit targets are no longer slowed.
  • W - Path Maker
    • When Charging, K'Sante raises his weapons defensively, becoming Unstoppable, and reducing incoming damage. When released, K'Sante rams forward, dealing a percentage of max health physical damage, knocking back and stunning enemies he hits. 
    • All Out: The ability cooldown is refreshed, damage reduction is increased, damage is increased based on charge time, and the charge and dash speed are doubled.
  • E - Footwork
    • Dash, gaining a shield for a short duration. When dashing to an ally, the distance is greatly increased, and the ally gains a shield too. Spells can be cast during the use of this ability.
    • All Out: Dash speed increased, dashing to a targeted location has increased range, and K'Sante can go over walls.
  • R - All Out
    • Shatter your ntofos, dealing physical damage and knocking back the affected enemy. Enemies that hit a wall will take higher physical damage, are knocked over the wall, and are briefly stunned. K'Sante then dashes after the enemy and goes All Out for a longer duration.
    • All Out: Lose a percentage of max health, bonus armour, and bonus magic resistance. Gain attack damage, omnivamp, and transform your abilities.

Ahri

  • Q ability mana cost is decreased (60/70/80/90/100 to 55/65/75/85/95)
  • AP ratio is increased (40/65/90/115/130 (+40% AP) to 40/65/90/115/140 (+45% AP))

Bel'Veth

  • E ability cooldown increased (22/20.5/19/17.5/16 to 24/22.5/21/19.5/18)
  • Void Remora health decreased (50/60/70% to 40/50/60%)

Blitzcrank

  • Base health decreased (653 to 633)
  • Base armour decreased (32 to 28)
  • W attack speed decreased (40/53/66/79/92% to 30/43/56/59/82%)

Corki

  • Health growth increased (101 to 105)
  • Attack Damage growth increased (2.5 to 2.8)

Malzahar

  • E ability can now execute minions

Miss Fortune

  • E AP ratio increased (+100% AP to +120% AP)
  • Initial slow decreased, slow AP ratio increased (50% (+4% per 100 AP) to 40% (+6% per 100 AP))
  • R ability AP ratio increased (20% AP to 25% AP)

Ornn

  • R ability updated (40/50/60% to 60% at all ranks)

Xin Zhao

  • Passive third hit bonus damage AD ratio increased (15/25/35/45% AD to 15/30/45/60% AD)
  • Heal AP ratio increased (+55% AP to +65% AP)
  • E ability cooldown increased (12 seconds to 11 seconds)

 

League of Legends 12.21 Patch Notes: Competitive

Shortening the remake timer to ensure that you're able to remake a match when someone's absence would start affecting the competitive integrity of the match if they've been gone from the start of the game.

  • Remake will be available between 1:30 and 3:00 minutes
  • If the remake conditions are met between game start and 3:00 minutes, teams will have from 1:30 to 3:00 minutes to start a remake vote by typing in "/remake" in chat. You'll always have a minimum of 30 seconds to type the command from the conditions being met, extending the timer to at the latest 3:29, if the conditions were met at 2:59 for example.
  • Remake is now available in ARAM and rotating game moves with the same updated rules

League of Legends 12.21 Patch Notes: Event Missions

New Event Missions have been added to the game, where players can continue to progress through the Event Pass with the Empyrean narrative missions. 

The missions have also been adjusted to give an additional 440 XP per mission, bringing the total up to 8,300 XP from the previous 3,900 XP.

League of Legends 12.21 Patch Notes: Bug Fixes & Quality Of Life Changes

  • Fixed a bug where champion clones would not receive increased damage from consecutive turret shots
  • Fixed a bug where Syndra's E would not do damage to Epic Monsters other than Rift Herald
  • Fixed a bug where Syndra's E could damage Gwen inside her own W 
  • Fixed a bug where Viego, in Syndra's form, would not release units picked up with her W after stopping possession of Syndra
  • Fixed a bug where Nilah's Q passive shield duration did not match the ability tooltip
  • Fixed a bug where Mordekaiser's E VFX would sometimes play twice per cast
  • Fixed a bug where Yuumi's W adaptive force buff would disappear on allies affected by specific debuffs
  • Fixed a bug where enemies hit by Rakan's R + W combo would be able to use items and abilities while airborne
  • Fixed a bug where Darius' R would sometimes not reset its cooldown if a target died a moment before taking damage
  • Removed the "Show Enemy Information Tooltips" option from the game (the functionality of this option was removed before, so this is simply to avoid confusion)
