If you’ve ever been to a LEGO store, you’ll know that one of the joys is being able to create your own mini-figure. You can use a variety of customization options and personalize them to be your own, and it’s something that’s carried into many LEGO games over the years, which fans have loved.

With this year’s release of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, and its recent launch into Xbox Game Pass, players are curious whether the same can be done here. If you’ve picked up the game and are wondering if you can make your own custom character, here’s everything you need to know.

Can You Make Custom Characters In LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga?

Despite there being hundreds of characters available - more so than any other LEGO game - players still want the ability to mix and match to create their own. Whether they want to mix Darth Vader with Obi-Wan Kenobi, or even Darth Maul with Jar-Jar Binks, sometimes the seemingly endless barrage of unlockable characters isn’t enough.

Despite games such as LEGO Harry Potter, and the more recent LEGO DC Super-Villains - which allowed you to create your very own custom protagonist - LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga does not support a custom character creator. Unfortunately, you will have to stick to the hundreds that are readily available.

It’s a point that’s stung the fan base, with many calling out to TT Games since LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga’s launch to add the feature. However, those cries appear to have gone unheard as no such ability has been added to the game. Even the latest edition of the game that launched in September didn’t have the feature.

That’s not to say it’s entirely out of the question for TT Games to add a custom character creator to LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, but at this point, it does not seem likely to be added in the near future, if at all.
