Lies of P will be running on Unreal Engine 4. This may come as a surprise to some considering Unreal Engine 5 has already arrived. Games like the recently released Remnant 2 and the upcoming Lords of the Fallen are already using the engine from Epic Games.

It is still unknown if Lies of P will move over to Unreal Engine 5 at a later date, but it seems incredibly unlikely at this point. Unreal Engine 5 is the engine developed by Epic Games and first released in April 2022, as a step-up from the engine Lies of P is using, Unreal Engine 4.
