How to change outfits in Like a Dragon Gaiden
Like a Dragon Gaiden allows you to change up Kiryu's outfit, but not from the get-go, so here is what you need to do to unlock your wardrobe.
Want to change your outfit for Kiryu in Like a Dragon Gaiden, but the game hasn't told you how yet? Like a Dragon Gaiden advertises the ability to customise Kiryu's look, something that has not really been a feature of the series before now.
To do this, you'll need to go to a very specific place that isn't revealed to you until later in the game. So, here's how to change your outfits in Like a Dragon Gaiden - a game we highly recommend.
Changing clothes in Like a Dragon Gaiden
To change your outfit in Like a Dragon Gaiden, you need to visit the Boutique at the Castle. Your first trip to the Boutique will happen as part of the main story, so if you have not yet encountered the store, you just need to continue through the story.
The Boutique is on the main street in the Castle, it's the last building on the right as you head towards the Coliseum. After your first trip here, you can return to the store at (almost) any time to buy new clothes and change up your looks, both for general play and for the Coliseum.
How to unlock more outfits in Like a Dragon Gaiden
Outfits and clothing items unlock automatically as you progress through the game, some inspired by the most iconic characters in the franchise, so be sure to come back and visit the Boutique often. Especially as - minor spoilers here - there is a point in the game where the Castle becomes unavailable for some time.
The game will tell you that the Castle will be inaccessible for a while just before you reach that point, so we suggest that you turn back and pay the Boutique a quick visit to make sure you're happy with your look, as you will be stuck with it for a bit.
