How to get Umbral Scouring in Lords of the Fallen
If you want to know how to get your hands on Umbral Scouring in Lords of the Fallen, we'll explain all the steps you need to take in order to get the item.
If you’ve been exploring Lords of the Fallen’s vast world, you’ll know that there are plenty of items to get including the Umbral Scouring. This item is incredibly useful in the game and can be used as an exchange with Molhu in Skyrest Bridge.
Lords of the Fallen is the news soulslike to join the roster, and much like the other games, you can use co-op to get you through those sticky situations if you need a bit of a helping hand for some of the harder bosses.
Here is what you can use Umbral Scouring for in Lords of the Fallen, and how you can obtain it in the game.
How to get Umbral Scouring in Lords of the Fallen
This particular item is quite rare to get, but you can farm this item to get special weapons and armor from Molhu. The best way to get Umbral Scourings is to kill Scarlet Shadows in the Umbral realm. You can do this once the eye turns red and the Vigor multiplier goes up to 3.0x.
Keep in mind that these Scarlet Shadows are quite difficult to kill, and if you’re low level you may struggle even more. Most of the weapons don’t do much damage to them, and when they are nearby your Sanguinarix is disabled, giving you no method of healing.
The best way to deal with them is to soulflay them and dangle their soul off of a cliff, that way their body will follow and they will die instantly if they fall into a chasm. Once killed, they’ll drop Vigor wisps and five Umbral Scourings.

These enemies have a respawn timer of about five minutes, so you can farm them over and over again. The best place to do this is Pilgrim’s Perch, as you can drop them directly into a chasm there.
It is very risky and dangerous though, so be careful when you’re doing it!
