There are plenty of items to collect in Lords of the Fallen, and one that you'll come across during your travels is Vestige Seeds - but just how do you use them?

Lords of the Fallen is the latest Soulslike in the genre and has a lot of similarities to others, but features like the Umbral Rift and Vestige Seeds add some extra intrigue to shake up the way that you approach gameplay.

So, here is everything you need to know about how to use Vestige Seeds in Lords of the Fallen.

How do you use Vestige Seeds in Lords of the Fallen?

Vestige Seeds is a rare item that you can pick up throughout your time playing Lords of the Fallen that can be used in Umbral flowerbeds to create a new Vestige site from the lantern. This means you’ll have to use your lantern to scan the area for flowerbeds. Luckily, your lantern will flash blue on the UI if there is a flowerbed nearby, so you don’t have to search too hard to find one.

Once you have planted a Vestige Seed, this will allow you to rest, level up, warp, and restore your healing items from the Vestige Site, and give you a new place to respawn if you die.

These can be useful if the latest Vestige you found was far away from a boss you are fighting and you need to get to the location without taking damage on the way.

How to get Vestige Seeds

If you’re struggling to find Vestige Seeds, in Lords of the Fallen, there are a few different methods you can use to get them.

Firstly, as a rare item, and it can sometimes drop in rare loot. Alternatively, if you kill mini-bosses, you can also obtain a Vestige Seed. If neither of those options works for you, some vendors will sell you a Vestige Seed in exchange for some Vigor.

That’s everything you need to know about Vestige Seeds in Lords of the Fallen. For more guides, check out our Lords of the Fallen homepage, or take a look at the minimum system requirements for Lords of the Fallen on PC.
