Here is everything you need to know about the pre-order bonuses and different editions for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 before it releases later this year.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is nearly here, so if you're unsure of which editions to purchase and want to see which pre-order bonuses are available for what, we've got a rundown of all you need to know.
Spider-Man 2, despite being called Spider-Man 2, is the third game in the series following a Peter Parker-led game and a Miles Morales-led game. In this latest adventure, players will be able to jump into the shoes (or uh, suits?) of both characters.
In the first game, if you pre-ordered, you unlocked some of Peter’s suits early - but will the second game follow suit considering there is an extra character? Spider-Man 2 will also have further customisation than the previous entries, with players being able to choose between three different colourways per suit.
So, here is all we know so far about the pre-order bonuses you can expect to see in the different editions available for Spider-Man 2.

What are the Spider-Man 2 pre-order bonuses?
If you pre-order Spider-Man 2, players will unlock a suit for Miles and a suit for Peter early. The unlock will also include every colour the suit has available, and some extra skill points so you can get a head start with levelling your gadgets.

What’s included in the Spider-Man 2 Standard Edition?
Buying the Standard Edition of the game will grant players the base game and nothing more. If you pre-order, however, you will still get the bonuses mentioned above, as they are included regardless of which edition of the game you buy, so long as it is bought early.

Spider-Man 2 Digital Deluxe Edition bonuses
The Digital Deluxe Edition of Spider-Man 2 is only available digitally, so if you're a fan of owning your games physically, you'll likely want to skip over this edition of the game.
This version includes the base game, if pre-ordered the aforementioned bonuses as well as the below:
- Extra skill points
- Five extra suits for Miles Morales
- Five extra suits for Peter Parker
- Photo Mode items
What’s included in the Spider-man 2 Collector’s Edition?
If you're a fan of collector's statues and steelbook cases to proudly display in your home, fortunately, the Collector’s Edition exists and comes with a host of physical goodies - albeit no disc, just a digital download code. The Collector’s Edition includes everything in the above versions, including the below:
- Steelbook
- 19-inch Venom statue
