Midnight Suns Best Hero Combinations: Doctor Strange, Captain Marvel, Spider-Man
One of our favourite team comps that you can access from chapter one is Doctor Strange, Captain Marvel, and Spider-Man. In terms of the character's archetypes, this combination gives you access to a support, a tank, and a technical damage character, giving you all the tools you need to be successful.
Captain Marvel is a character that uses a lot of heroism to be fully effective, and Doctor Strange's passive lets him generate heroism, making him the perfect support for her powerful abilities. We also included Spider-Man due to his abilities at distributing damage around the battlefield, and chaining attacks for multiple KOs, which goes perfectly with Strange's Agamotto's Gaze card, letting you perform four card plays in a turn. This isn't the highest damage hero combination in the game, but it's a consistent and safe way of completing any mission.
Midnight Suns Best Hero Combinations: Scarlet Witch, Magik, Wolverine
Scarlet Witch and Magik are two of the best heroes in the game when paired together, perfectly complimenting each other's abilities and flaws. Due to Scarlet Witch's focus on AoE damage and debuffs, you'll want someone like Magik who can effectively manoeuvre enemies around and gather multiple enemies together. This lets Scarlet Witch take full advantage of her powerful cards.
We also included Wolverine as he can act as a distraction with his taunts, pulling the attention away from Scarlet Witch and Magik who are squishier. Wolverine has lots of lifesteal options due to his cards and passive, meaning he can run interference and let the other two do their thing while remaining alive throughout. This is a very high damaging team that can often end missions within a couple of rounds, but it can be difficult to fully utilise all their skills together.
Midnight Suns Best Hero Combinations: Iron Man, Captain America, Blade
This is the ultimate damage team where every character can royally mess up enemies, while also performing their own role and supporting each other. Iron Man is good at spreading damage out and using utility, with cards that grant heroism, mark enemies, or grant block, the latter of which is vital for Cap.
Captain America can act like the tank due to his proficiency at earning block and taunting enemies, but many cards also allow him to swap block for high damage when you need to go all out against an enemy. Lastly, Blade is an expert at high single-target damage, applying bleed debuffs and slicing through enemies. With this team combined, you have a focused damage dealer, a tank that can switch toward damage, and a utility character that spreads out damage. All in all, you will easily knock out every threat without worries.
That's all for our breakdown of the Midnight Suns best hero combinations, and now you know of the team comps that are worth using in battle.
