Modern Warfare 2 Union Guard is a story-focused cosmetic item you can unlock. Modern Warfare 2 has a plethora of cosmetic items to collect and equip. Union Guard is one such cosmetic item, one that fans of the campaign are going to want to get their hands on. Here is everything you need to know to get the Modern Warfare 2 Union Guard blueprint.

MW2 Union Guard Blueprint: What Is It?
The Union Guard blueprint is a cosmetic item but also has gameplay value. As a blueprint, it is essentially an alternative version of an existing weapon, the M4 in this case. Specifically, this is Captain Price's personal M4 which he uses throughout the campaign.
Unlocking the Union Guard gets you the cosmetic variation of the M4, but also some attachments. The weapon comes with the DSS Covert V silencer, SZ 1MW PEQ laser, Aim OP-V4 reflex optics, and the Lockgrip Precision-40 vertical grip. These attachments can be used however you choose, allowing you to customise your own version of the weapon.

MW2 Union Guard Blueprint: How To Unlock
The Union Guard blueprint might take a bit longer than most items to unlock, but it is one of the most straightforward things you can do in the game. If you want to unlock the Union Guard blueprint, all you need to do is complete the campaign.
Now, the campaign is reasonably long as far as Call of Duty games go, it could take you up to 8 hours to complete. The campaign is a lot of fun, and one of the most varied in the series, so it is by no means a slog to get through. Complete the campaign on any difficulty and you will unlock the Union Guard blueprint to use as you like.
