Modern Warfare 2 Vehicles List: All Vehicles In MW2 And Warzone 2
Everything you need to know about the Modern Warfare 2 vehicles list.
We're all aboard the Modern Warfare 2 hype train, but when the carts pull into the station, which vehicles will we be whizzing around in for the next two years of Call of Duty action? Having seen vehicles grow in status and relevance through Warzone in recent months, you might be interested to know whether big bertha is back again or if will there be a brand new Modern Warfare 2 vehicles list. Well, here's all you need to know about the Modern Warfare 2 vehicles.
Modern Warfare 2 Vehicles: Land
You might see some familiar sets of wheels here, but there are quite a few new rides in Modern Warfare 2 vehicles.
- ATV (All-Terrain Vehicle)
- UTV (Utility Terrain Vehicle)
- TAC-V (Tactical Vehicle)
- Hatchback
- Chop Top
- SUV
- Cargo Truck
The likes of Big Bertha are back, although with some visible additions like an extra layer of armour in the back to protect passengers. The ATV (quad), UTV (dune buggy), and SUV are all back with rejigged designs too. Both the Chop Top and TAC-V come in with combat in mind, while the Hatchback serves absolutely no defense purposes and will purely be a transportation vehicle.
Modern Warfare 2 Vehicles: Water
For the first time in Modern Warfare, sea vehicles will be usable in Multiplayer and Warzone, allowing you to jump in from a dock and whip through the wet terrain as quickly as possible.
The sea vehicles available are:
- RHIB (Rigid-Hull Inflatable Boat)
- Armoured Patrol Boat
Two sea vehicles come in Modern Warfare 2, the quicker RHIB which is best described as a glorified dinghy, and the Armoured Patrol Boat. The RHIB might be best for a quick getaway or a speedy rotation but offers little in the way of protection. The APB is more of a sea destrier, mounted with two machine guns and outlined with a metal cover you'll be all set for war in this bad boy.
Modern Warfare 2 Vehicles: Ground War
Here comes the boom. The rest of the Land Vehicles that are available will be restricted to Ground War (not necessarily Warzone, but not ruled out either) and come with a full-blown arsenal attached to their kit.
- Heavy Tank
- Light Tank
- APC (Armored Personnel Carrier)
Tanks made loud noises and always will do, and they return as Modern Warfare 2 vehicles on the only basis to cause mass destruction. The APC comes with the disadvantage of being able to have its wheels shot out, but can generate much more speed.
Modern Warfare 2 Vehicles: Air
Even the aerial warfare is getting an upgrade, and a welcome one at that.
- Light Helo
- Heavy Chopper
The Light Helo is the standard copter that we've become accustomed to through Warzone. However, arguably the best new Modern Warfare 2 vehicle is the Heavy Chopper. With the ability to physically walk around the chopper whilst it flies, early footage also shows that you can easily have your array of snipers shoot from different angles, although you won't be able to jet away as quickly if you're weak.
All Modern Warfare 2 vehicles will be able to be customised through new skins, with the APC already having a "Floor It" design available through the beta.
