Choosing to ignore the large open areas of Warzone 2s Al Mazrah map in favour of some close-combat carnage? Good, as the Expedite-12 shotgun is a good choice.
Whilst being a sound and powerful Shotgun in its stock state, we've focused on widening the shot spread and getting a bit more out of this bad boys' range. Here's what we think is the best Warzone 2 loadout for the Expedite-12:
- Muzzle: Bryson Choke
- Laser: Schlager ULO-66 Laser
- Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56
- Stock: Resonance Stock Collapsed
- Bolt: Expedite L-Bolt
MW2 Best Expedite-12 Loadout: Perks
As with most long-range bets, players want to be quick and silent. Granted this isn't always possible in certain scenarios, but we can complement this best Warzone 2 Expedite-12 Loadout with some relevant perks:
- Perk One: Overkill
- Perk Two: Double Time
- Bonus Perk: Fast Hands
- Ultimate Perk: Quick Fix
- Field Upgrade: Dead Silence
MW2 Best Expedite-12 Loadout: Attachments
The two main things that we'll want to be boosting with the Expedite-12 are the rate of fire and aim-down-sight speed, as they will allow you to disperse any enemies in your way as quickly as possible. Secondary attributes like hip-fire spread and general mobility are also very strong and are definitely things to take into consideration.
So, here are the best attachments to use for your MW2 Expedite-12 loadout:
- Laser - VLK LZR 7MW
- Stock - Resonance Stock Collapsed
- Bolt - Expedite L-Bolt
- Rear Grip - Schlager Void Grip
- Muzzle - XTEN Modified Choke
The most important part of this entire loadout is the Expedite L-Bolt, as that turns this shotgun from a slow pea shooter to a fast-firing monster. It does increase the recoil though, so you'll have to be wary of that when spraying.
The XTEN Modified Choke will also help make the Expedite-12 stronger at range, as it can be rather weak beyond an arm's length otherwise. At these longer ranges though, you're going to want to aim down sights, as that will significantly tighten the spread, making more of your bullets hit your target.
To help you do this, the remaining three attachments all improve ADS speed, sprint to fire speed, and generally boost your movement, which should really help you stay prepared when on the move. The VLK LZR 7MW is particularly good as it gives you an ADS, aiming stability, and sprint-to-fire speed boost, with the only 'downside' being that the laser is visible in ADS.
One attachment you could try out if you're finding that you're dying when reloading is the 18.5" Battlemaster in the Barrel slot. While it does nerf your movement speed and ADS time, it increases your ammo capacity by three rounds up to 10, which could be the difference between life and death in a lot of scenarios, especially if you're a hipfire spray and pray type of player.

MW2 Best Expedite-12 Loadout: Perks
The perks themselves are quite significant in making this best MW2 Expedite-12 loadout as strong as possible, as they all play into enabling the fast flow of gameplay the shotgun requires.
Here are all of the perks that you'll want to use with the Expedite-12 in Modern Warfare 2:
- Perk One: Overkill
- Perk Two: Double Time
- Bonus Perk: Fast Hands
- Ultimate Perk: Quick Fix
- Field Upgrade: Dead Silence
Overkill is essential in covering the range-related weaknesses of the Expedite-12, as pairing it with something like the SP-R 208 with a high-magnification scope will give you an option for every range.
Double Time is self-explanatory, especially with a shotgun, as staying on the move is crucial. Fast Hands, once you get your hands on it, will help cover for the excruciatingly long reload time, and Quick Fix will help you outlast your enemies if you run into a group of them.
Finally, outside of being generally the best Field Upgrade in the game, Dead Silence will really help you out when closing the distance to your enemies, as they will feel the pain of your shells sooner than they will hear your footsteps.
For equipment, you obviously won't have a secondary due to Overkill, so you just have the Lethal and Tactical to choose from. The Drill Charge will help you move enemies from a tight spot, and either a Flash or Stun will leave your foes like fish in a barrel. You could also go for the Stim to heal from a tough encounter, but that will eventually clash with Quick Fix, so it is up to you.
So, that completes our best Expedite-12 Warzone 2 and MW2 loadout, giving you all of the attachments, perks, and equipment needed to dominate with the gun. If you're wanting to find out about the MW2 Mountain Dew rewards though, make sure to have a read of our guide for all the details.
