All the changes in the MW2 DMZ Season 5 early patch notes can be found on the Call of Duty blog.

Al Mazrah, Ashika Island, and Vondel are all under attack

A new threat called the Konni are declaring all out war on all three maps, taking part in skirmishes against the faction NPCs there.

All the maps will have areas called Active Combat Zones, where you can call in killstreaks, and where the highest quality loot and gear is present.

Building 21 and the Koschei Complex have been taken over by the Konni, and Shadow Company are now your allies and won't take the first shot against any Operators.

Disguised Field Upgrade

Built for pure stealth engagements, the Disguised Field Upgrade allows you to appear as a member of a DMZ faction. Equip the disguise and DMZ combatants of the same faction will not attack unless you blow your cover and act aggressively towards them.

Battle Revive

An experimental Self-Revive with adrenaline mixed in to get you right back into the battle with some rage to spare. You'll gain quicker healing and a shorter tactical sprint cooldown for a short period of time.

Self-Revive Box

Like the Armour Box, this is a Field Upgrade that holds multiple Self-Revives for you and your squad.

Scuba Gas Mask

A combined Gas Mask and Rebreather, that's perfect for protection against radioactive wind, gas, and underwater travel.

That's all for our coverage of the MW2 DMZ Season 5 early patch notes, and now you know what all the major changes to DMZ are.
