Modern Warfare 2 Side Impact is an alternative version of the X13 Auto. Modern Warfare 2 has a wide variety of cosmetic items for players to collect and equip, and blueprints are much more than that. Side Impact is one such cosmetic item, a reward for fans who played a lot of the beta. Here is everything you need to know about the Modern Warfare 2 Side Impact blueprint.

The Side Impact blueprint alters the visual presentation of the weapon, while also adding some functionality. As a blueprint, it is essentially another version of an existing weapon, the X13 Auto in this case. It is visually very different from the base weapon, but also it comes with its own set of attachments. These attachments include a unique sight, underbarrel grip, and stock.

Unlocking the Side Impact gets you the cosmetic variation of the X13 Auto, but also some attachments. These attachments cannot be gotten on the base weapon without some levelling up, so having the Side Impact blueprint gives you a more powerful weapon early.

The unfortunate news is, there is no way to unlock this blueprint right now. Side Impact was a reward during the beta of the game, specifically for reaching Operator level 15 during the beta. Now that the beta is over and the full game is out, beta rewards are no longer available.

We cannot say for sure if these rewards will become available again down the line. It is not unheard of for rewards like these to become available again after the fact, but when or if that will happen with the Side Impact blueprint, we cannot say.

That is it for the Modern Warfare 2 Side Impact blueprint. For more on the game, check out our MW2 meta weapons guide.
