MW2 Tier 1 Shipment: What Is It?
If you're confused about what Tier 1 Shipment is in MW2, we have you covered.
Players of MW2 may have spotted a brand new playlist pop up in the game over the holiday period known as Tier 1 Shipment. However, Modern Warfare 2 doesn't do a fantastic job of explaining what Tier 1 Shipment actually is, or how it differs from the 24/7 Shipment playlist. So, here is everything you need to know about MW2 Tier 1 Shipment.
MW2 Tier 1 Shipment: What Is It?
Infinity Ward has introduced an updated Shipment map for Modern Warfare 2. A re-imagination of the 2007 classic from the original Call of Duty 4, this map is not for the faint of heart. Set amongst a collection of shipping containers, battles here are close quarters and dirty. Matches end just as quickly as they start, and death is around every corner.
While you can play Shipment in a 24/7 playlist, it can also be played in the Tier 1 mode of play. However, Tier 1 amps things up to another level. Tier 1 is essentially a term for Hardcore in Modern Warfare 2. Players have far less health than normal, meaning they die with just a couple of bullets. In addition, friendly fire is on, so you need to be careful with where you aim. To top it all off, there is no mini-map, compass, or ammo counter to help you in a match. It's just you, a weapon, and the enemy team.
Playing Tier 1 Shipment won't be for everyone, but it can add an extra level of tactics to a map that's usually a complete frenzy. If you're looking for a new way to spice up your time playing Modern Warfare 2, certainly give Tier 1 Shipment a try. Just don't be disappointed when you spawn, die, spawn, die, spawn, die.
