MW2: How To Unlock Platinum Camos
To unlock a Platinum Camo in Modern Warfare 2, there are a few prerequisites that you must complete first. To begin, you must earn the Gold Camo for every weapon in a certain class. For example, if you want to earn the Platinum Camo for Assault Rifles, then you must earn the Gold Camo for every weapon in the Assault Rifle category. For some, this will clearly be a big effort to achieve, so don't undertake it lightly. If you're unsure how to unlock the Gold Camos, read our guide.
Once you've unlocked the Gold Camo for every weapon in a certain class, you'll be presented with a Platinum challenge to complete. This Platinum challenge will apply to individual weapons, so you must complete the challenge with whichever weapon you'd like to apply the camo to. Once complete, you will unlock the Platinum Camo for that particular weapon.
To apply Platinum Camo, or any other Mastery Camo, to a weapon, you'll need to head to the 'Weapon Mastery' tab in the customisation menu.
