How to unlock the Victus XMR Sniper Rifle in MW2 & Warzone 2
Here's a guide to unlock the Victus XMR Sniper Rifle in MW2 and Warzone 2.
Perfect for eliminating opponents at long range, the Victus XMR is a deadly new addition to Call of Duty. To test it yourself, stick around to find out how to unlock the Victus XMR Sniper Rifle.
How to unlock the Victus XMR Sniper Rifle
The Victus XMR Sniper Rifle is available in the Season 1 Battle Pass as a free reward. However, with MW2 and Warzone 2's convoluted, non-linear Battle Pass System, progressing through the Battle Pass isn't as simple this time.
If you want to unlock the Victus XMR Sniper Rifle with haste, you must efficiently advance through the Sectors of the Battle Pass. To complete a Sector and move to the next Sector, you have to unlock all five rewards in that particular Sector, including the High-Value Target (HVT).
To claim an item in a Sector, you must redeem a Battle Token Tier Skip. You unlock Battle Token Tier Skips naturally by playing and earning XP. Alternatively, you can purchase Battle Token Tier Skips with COD Points.
Beginning in Sector A1, the quickest route to the Victus XMR is A1, to A2, to A4, and finally to A7, the Sector occupied by the Victus XMR Sniper Rifle. In total, you will need at least 20 Battle Token Tier Skips to unlock the Victus XMR Sniper Rifle in MW2 and Warzone 2. Following a suboptimal path through the Season 1 Battle Pass Sectors may delay your quest to obtain the Victus XMR.
Once Season 1 ends, any players who missed out on the Victus XMR will be able to unlock the high-powered Sniper Rifle via an undisclosed Weapon Unlock Challenge.
Victus XMR Sniper Rifle Overview
The Vicus XMR Sniper Rifle is described in-game as a "hard-hitting, bolt action sniper rifle with .50 cal BMG ammunition." The Vicus XMR first appeared in the MW2 Campaign, but as of Season 1, it's available in MW2 Multiplayer and Warzone 2.
This brand-new Sniper Rifle sports the highest Damage, Accuracy, and Range ratings in its class. With that, the Vicus XMR is capable of one-shot kills from the lower torso up at most distances.
As of now, the Victus XMR is the sole member of the Imperatorium Weapon Platform.
