Do Warzone Double XP Tokens Carry Over To MW2?
If you've stacked up on XP tokens whilst playing Warzone the past few years, find out if you can transfer them over to Modern Warfare 2.
Speeding through the ranks in Modern Warfare 2 is probably your main priority since the game’s launch. With 55 levels to work your way through and tons of content to unlock, there’s no shortage of stuff to strive for. To make this easier, players look for ways to speed up the process, and one of the best is to utilize in-game double XP tokens.
These tokens can last anywhere from 30-minutes to an hour, and offer you double the amount of XP earned during that time. They’re separated between weapon XP and character XP, allowing you to use the ones you want to quickly increase your Modern Warfare 2 progress. With many promotions, such as Mountain Dew and Little Caesars offering players extra tokens, it’s easy to see why they’re so popular.
However, many players already have an abundance from their time on Warzone. With a heavy backlog of XP tokens to use, many are wondering if it’s possible to carry them over to Modern Warfare 2. If you’re one of those people, we’ve got the answer you’re looking for right here.

Do Warzone Double XP Tokens Carry Over To MW2?
Unfortunately, your tokens gained in Warzone are tied there and are not transferable to Modern Warfare 2. If you want to earn extra tokens, you’ll have to participate in one of the many promotions going around, unlock them via in-game rewards such as progressing through the campaign, or purchase the Vault Edition of the game.
If you’re going to be jumping into Warzone 2.0, it’s not been confirmed if you’ll be able to take your Modern Warfare 2 tokens over, but considering both games will share the same Battle Pass, it’s highly likely this will be the case.
It is unfortunate players will have to earn their XP tokens again, but it’s not massively surprising. Still, if you want to earn more in Modern Warfare 2, at least there are plenty of options to grab extras, but you may have to dip your hand in your pocket if you want to start stockpiling them again.
