Sledgehammer Games

Already, the MW3 Nemesis skins are populating every lobby in the Beta, with players on both teams wearing the colour-changing outfits.

The Modern Warfare 3 Operators are even more noticeable than others in the Beta, as they will omit smoke when a killstreak is active, allowing good players to stand out from the crowd.

But how do you unlock the Modern Warfare 3 Nemesis skins, and how do they upgrade? Well, here's all you need to know.

How to unlock the MW3 Nemesis skins

There's only one way to unlock the MW3 Nemesis skins, and it isn't a cheap method. The bundle is only available to those who pre-order the Modern Warfare 3 Vault Edition, which costs roughly $99.

Much akin to the MW2 Red Team bundle, they will not be re-released later in the year nor will they be available for separate purchase, only ever to be found within the Vault Edition upgrade.

Modern Warfare 3 Nemesis skins operators

The MW3 Nemesis skin range has four available operators, all of which can be used in the Beta and will persist to the full game.

The four Operators with the reactive Nemesis are Ghost and Price, who have blue-tinted skins, and Makarov and Warden, whose skin is pigmented with red to support their antagonist status.

How to upgrade the reactive MW3 Nemesis skins

There are three evolutions of the MW3 reactive Nemesis Operators, as they will level up through killstreaks.

The base operators will see Warden, Price, Ghost, and Makarov all sport bog-standard outfits replicable of their characters throughout the series (Warden is new, but will have a black outfit to start off).

They will then evolve into a silver outfit once they get a kill, and will evolve again once they open up a killstreak. In the final evolution stage, they will begin omitting smoke with Ghost and Price having blue flares and Warden and Makarov having a red odour.

Dying will reset the MW3 Nemesis skins, so if you do see a fully red ball of smoke bursting through doors, you might want to run off and pull out a swift sniper.

That's all you need to know about the MW3 Nemesis skins, but you might be interested to know whether you can check your Modern Warfare 3 Beta stats, Combat Record, & K/D, or check out our other Call of Duty guides.
