Is the Niamey Logan pop-up keeping you out of MW3, and telling you your data is corrupt? Unfortunately, Modern Warfare 3 has been afflicted with a particularly annoying bug that is preventing players from logging in.

Well good news, this issue is just a bug and one that is easily circumvented, here is what you need to do to log in to the game safe and sound.

Niamey Logan solved

To get around this issue, all you need to do is choose yes when the game says you must reset your rank and unlocks to continue. This may seem like the last thing you want to do, but the truth is you can do so safely, as you will not lose your rank progress or unlocked gear.

First the good news, your data is not corrupt. As mentioned, the Niamey Logan error is indeed a bug, one that is currently being worked on. Although it tells you that logging in will erase everything, all it will do is reset your classes and make tutorials appear as if you are starting the game for the first time.

The effect of the bug is still annoying, you'll have to re-do your classes and put up with some tutorial pop-ups, but your rank, your weapons, your operators, and everything you have worked towards will still be there. The Niamey Logan error message may still appear when you login in the future, but this will be fixed in time.

That is it for the MW3 Niamey Logan bug, now you can play with confidence that your progress is safe. For more, head to our Modern Warfare 3 homepage where we have tips like how to unlock the XRK Stalker, or how to farm Manglers.
