All Vortex Death’s Lair event challenges & rewards in MW3 & Warzone
The Vortex Death's Laid event for MW3 and Warzone has lots of free rewards for you to unlock. Here are all the challenges you'll need to complete to get them all.
The Vortex Death’s Lair event has just begun in MW3 and Warzone, with plenty of challenges to complete in return for some sweet rewards.
The event is themed around the Vortex mosh pit that was introduced with Season 4 Reloaded. Featuring reworked MW2 maps with a haunted, spooky theme, it lets players loose in classic 6v6 modes such as TDM, Domination, Kill Confirmed and Hardpoint - my favourites.
You don’t need to play the Vortex playlist to complete these challenges, but it certainly lends itself well to unlocking the free goodies quickly.
Vortex Death’s Lair event start and end dates
This event is set to run from July 10 until July 24 2024, giving you around two weeks to get all of the challenges completed.
Make sure you act fast if you want to get these rewards, as it’s unlikely there’ll be another way to unlock them once the event is over.

There are ten free rewards up for grabs, with the ultimate prize being a Weapon Blueprint for the SVA 545. It’s tastefully named the ‘Press “F”’, after the infamous meme that spawned from Advanced Warfare almost a decade ago.
To unlock this final freebie, you’ll need to complete all of the challenges for a particular mode. That means either one of Multiplayer, Zombies, or Battle Royale - you don't need to complete every single challenge for every single mode.
The quickest way to complete the challenges is likely via Battle Royale in Warzone, as they look to be a lot easier than Multiplayer and Zombies counterparts. Just make sure you’re equipping the right weapons and queuing for a mixture of Resurgence, Plunder, and standard Battle Royale.
