How to get the Blood Burner Key in MW3 Zombies & what it does
Learn what it takes to get the Blood Burner Key Schematic in MW3 Zombies and details on what it does when it's used in the game.
Thanks to the introduction of new Schematics, courtesy of the Season 2 Reloaded Mid-Season Update for MWZ, you can get your very own Blood Burner!
With a key, you can summon a Blood Burner on demand in Modern Warfare 3's Zombies Mode - so here's how to get one and use it to take control of the game's sole Wonder Vehicle.
How to get the Blood Burner Key
To get the Plans for the Blood Burner Key, you must first complete the brand-new Zombies Story Mission, Countermeasures.
Finishing this Story Mission will allow you to access the latest Dark Aether Rift, the only spot in MWZ where you can find the Schematic for the Blood Burner Key.
Once inside the Dark Aether Rift, you must complete various tasks to spawn Reward Rifts, which have a chance to contain the update's new Schematics, including the Blood Burner Key.
However, not only is the Dark Aether Rift difficult to access, it's one of the most challenging areas in MW3 Zombies, and you can only stay inside it for so long, so it's crucial that you're stocked on supplies and up for it before venturing into the Rift Gate.
If you get lucky enough to find the Plans for the Blood Burner Key in one of the Reward Rifts you loot inside the Dark Aether Rift, you must then Exfil with it, or you'll lose it and have to seek out another copy of the Schematic.
What does the Blood Burner Key do?
With the Blood Burner Key Schematic, you can now craft the Key and bring it with you into your next match. As you'd expect, it allows you to summon the Blood Burner.
The Blood Burner is an indestructible two-seater bike capable of mowing down hordes of Zombies with zero issues. Flattening Zombies actually fuels the Blood Burner, powering up its signature ability: Aether Pulse.
Using Aether Pulse emits an area-of-effect burst that vaporises any Zombies in the vicinity of the beastly bike. Oh, and it can freely move across water, too!
It's a good idea to have a Blood Burner on call if you want to safely increase your Containment Level! Check out our Call of Duty homepage at GGRecon for more MWZ tips and tricks.
