This new tiered streak system is exclusive to MWZ, adding further incentive to watch your back while in the Exclusion Zone. This primer explains how this system works in the game's Zombies Mode.
What are Containment Levels?
Containment Levels are part of a brand-new tiered Exfil streak system available only in MWZ. As you increase your Containment Level, you'll unlock rewards to smoothen your experience in Zombies.
There are 100 levels altogether, divided into 10 Tiers, and the higher your level, the better the benefits!
How to increase your Containment Level in MW3 Zombies
Your level increases as you complete Contracts and successfully Exfil from the Exclusion Zone in Zombies Mode.
However, your Containment Level will suffer whenever you fail to Exfil. While your streak won't reset entirely, you'll get demoted a tier if you die or fail to extract from Urzikstan.
What rewards are available?
Raising your Containment Level unlocks various passive rewards, giving you an edge over your peers in the Exclusion Zone. Whether it's starting with bonus Essence and Armour Plates or discounts at Perk-A-Cola Machines and Mystery Boxes, a high Containment Level has its benefits!
Here are the rewards offered at every Containment Level Tier:

50% discount on Mystery Box costs |
| Tier 9 | Level 75 | Start with 5,000 Essence |
| Tier 10 | Level 100 | 20% discount on Pack-A-Punch costs |
Containment Levels are exclusive to your individual Strike Team Operators, so while you might be Tier 6 - Level 30 with Strike Team Operator: 1, Strike Team Operator: 2 might only be Tier 2 - Level 5.
With that, you may want to consider dedicating an Operator to riskier endeavours and saving your highest-ranking Operator for safer missions with friends. That way, you run less of a risk of tanking your Containment Level and getting knocked back tiers.
