How To Increase And Recover Stamina In My Time At Sandrock
Stamina in My Time at Sandrock is a core mechanic that limits the amount of daily gathering you can do. To learn how you can upgrade your max stamina, and which foods will increase your stamina, read on.
Stamina in My Time at Sandrock is a system that measures how many chores you can perform each in-game day. As with most farming RPG sims, My Time at Sandrock depletes stamina each time you harvest a material, mine, or complete tasks as a way to measure daily progress. Unless you recover your stamina through in-game mechanics, stamina retention will be important, especially when completing early-game missions. To learn more about the stamina system in My Time at Sandrock and how to recover stamina, read on.

How To Increase Stamina In My Time At Sandrock
When starting a game of My Time at Sandrock, you’ll be given the initial base stat of 300 stamina. This will quickly run out during initial material gathering and harvesting, so you’ll want to upgrade it as soon as you can.
You can increase your stamina pool by levelling up, this is relatively easy at first as you’ll only have to follow the main story missions to level up a few times. Once you’ve obtained the materials needed to make the cranes for Rocky during the first main mission, you should have progressed past the first few levels.
Placing furniture in your workshop will also increase your max stamina, as will certain branches of knowledge which you will unlock once you’ve reached level five.
The knowledge feature essentially acts as a skill tree, through which it is possible to upgrade your stamina through the Yard and Gathering nodes.
How To Recover Stamina In My Time At Sandrock
Your stamina pool will re-set at the start of each new day after sleeping in your bed, at the workshop. If you want a stamina boost whilst exploring Sandrock, you can also buy food from the Blue Moon Saloon, which will provide various stamina buffs depending on the food you eat or take out. Of particular note is the Cilantro Meatloaf which will give the player a +26 to stamina once eaten.
Sitting on benches located throughout town will also help your stamina to regenerate slowly. This is a slow process but if you’re close to collecting a material you need, this can be a solution without starting a new day.
If you don’t want to spend money on food early-game, some forage items like cacti fruit can be picked from the nearby desert which will provide a small boost to stamina. Just be careful not to accidentally cut down trees near the town as this can negatively impact your relationship with the citizens.
Like Stardew Valley you’ll be issued a warning once it gets to 2am to go to bed, if you stay awake past 3am your character will collapse where you stand and wake up with bags under their eyes the next day.
