If you're encountered Partitio's Side Story in Sai, then you might be wondering where to find Masoud's treasure in Octopath Traveler 2. The game very much encourages you to figure out things yourself which is fantastic, but can lead to some confusion in quests like this one.

Masoud in particular gives you a rather obtuse challenge, asking you to find his 'treasure', with no further clues beyond that. It can be a big roadblock for players unsure of where to go.

I've done the hard work for you, so check out the guide below to learn where to find Masoud's treasure in the game.

Where to find Masoud's Treasure

Talking to Masoud's Daughter in Octopath 2.

After you've spoken to Masoud in Sai, you'll probably be a little stumped on what to do next. To find Masoud's Treasure in Octopath Traveler 2, you'll want to follow our step by step guide below:

  • From Masoud, head down the hill and over to the well to the west.
  • Speak to Masoud's daughter, who is the girl in the red dress next to the well.
  • Use any Hire Path Actions on his daughter to bring her into your party - Partitio can use Bribe at night.
  • Head back up the hill and speak to Masoud.
  • He will dismiss his daughter as not the treasure you're looking for, leaving you to try again.
  • Head back up the hill once again and use Partitio's night Path Action Bribe on Masoud himself to employ him into your party - this will cost 5,000 Silver Leaves.
  • This will reveal that the greatest treasure is actually yourself - how nice!

Following the steps above will give you the Mercantile Manuscript Archive Key, which is a rather overwhelming but incredibly helpful collection. This can be used on the building next to Masoud, and has an incredible amount of information you won't want to miss.
