Overwatch 2 Halloween Event: Start Date
We don't yet know too much about this first Halloween event in Overwatch 2, but at least we know when it starts and when it ends. Based on the Season One trailer, we know that the event begins on October 25th, and ends on November 8th.
That makes for a full week of spooky fun before Halloween and a full week after. Hopefully, that will be plenty of time to get the most out of the new mode.

Overwatch 2 Halloween Event: New Mode
One thing we know for sure is that we are getting a new game mode for this Halloween event. This new mode, called Junkenstein's Revenge: Wrath of the Bride, appears to share much of the previous mode's DNA, but it is something new. We know it is still a four-player co-op experience, and if the characters you can play as are locked in like they once were, the characters shown in the artwork are Kiriko, Junker Queen, Sojourn and, as best as we can tell, Ashe.
Considering one of the most touted features of Overwatch 2, which sadly we will have to wait until next year for, is the new focus on story and PvE content, could we see a more in-depth mode for Halloween? Perhaps this refresh of Junkenstein's Revenge will incorporate some of the light RPG-style elements promised for the story campaign. If this event is meant to be a taste of the PvE content to come, we might be in for a treat.

Overwatch 2 Halloween Event: New Skins
It isn't a seasonal Overwatch event without some new skins. Adding new themed skins to the game is a cornerstone of the franchise, and no doubt we will only see more of it now the game is free-to-play. There has been a wealth of Halloween skins added over the years which are bound to return to popularity in the coming weeks.
In regards to new skins, we have a couple of newcomers to the game who need to look the part. From the Season One trailer, we can see that Kiriko is getting a witch skin. Along with her, Junker Queen appears to be decked out like an executioner, Sojourn like a Noir detective, and Ashe seems to be in a Diablo-style demon hunter get-up. We will have to wait until October 25th to see these looks in their full glory, as well as any other new cosmetics that are likely on the way.
That is everything we currently know about the Overwatch 2 Halloween event, Junkenstein's Revenge: Wrath of the Bride. For more on the game, check out our guide to the Overwatch 2 Bastion glitch.
