Overwatch 2 updated roadmap: Characters, reworks & story changes after PvE cancellation

Blizzard has revealed an updated Overwatch 2 roadmap for all the new content coming in Seasons 5, 6, & 7.

While the Overwatch 2 devs recently revealed that the main PvE elements teased at Blizzcon 2019 have been cancelled, they did deliver a huge amount of news on future updates coming to OW2.

Providing a look ahead to the next three major patches in Seasons 5, 6 & 7, Blizzard has given Overwatch 2 fans a huge amount to get excited about.

With the roadmap featuring new characters, reworks, and story missions, let's check out everything the next three seasons have on offer for the community.

When will each Overwatch 2 Season release?

For now, Blizzard hasn't revealed the specific release dates for Season 6 or 7, but they did mention that everything in the roadmap is planned for 2023.

As for Season 5, that's expected to go live in mid-June, so OW2 fans won't have to wait long before a huge amount of new content is delivered.
