Unfortunately, Palia is not currently available on Mac and is only available via Windows PC with a future planned release on Nintendo Switch.

For those planning to play on PC, you can receive help downloading the game via the installation guide, or directly on the download page.

Although the developer has not specified further platform releases, the game has received high praise from players during the open beta access, so the future of the game does look promising if you're holding onto hope for a macOS port.

Less patient players have taken to downloading the game and running it through Parallels, a Windows desktop simulator for macOS.

As an unsupported method, this has received a mixed bag of responses, however. Some players are reporting that the version is serviceable and others claim the screen flashes in and out.

If you would rather wait for the Nintendo Switch launch, you can wishlist the game now on the eShop. As of writing, there is no official release date for Palia, with development still heavily underway during the early access period.
