Is Palworld crossplay? Co-op & multiplayer explained
Here is everything you need to know about whether or not Palworld will have crossplay as well as how co-op and multiplayer works in this survival game.
If you want to explore a world full of strange creatures you can catch to help you survive, then Palworld could be right up your alley but before you dive in you will want to know how the multiplayer and co-op works as well as if the game features crossplay.
You can play Palworld single-player if that’s what takes your fancy, but exploring this world, trying to survive and catching Pals will also be a great activity with friends.
The game is releasing in early access first, meaning the below is all subject to changing and evolving, but we will keep this updated as more develops.
Does Palworld have crossplay?
There is no crossplay at this time for Palworld, although this could change in the future. Right now, the game will only be released in Early Access on Xbox and PC although it could come to other platforms in the future. If it is released on more platforms, then it may come later down the line.
Multiplayer & co-op explained in Palword
There is no local co-op in Palworld but you can play online with buddies, in a party of up to four players, although a dedicated server can hold up to 32 players at a time.
According to the Steam page for the game, there will be PvP gameplay added at a later date - it also states how the amount of players in a dedicated server will be increased later down the line too. Not only will the world be fully explorable with some friends, but you can also trade your Pals with a pal too.
That is all there is to know about multiplayer and crossplay in Palworld. If you’re looking for more guides, then check out our Palworld homepage where we have outlined the system requirements needed, if the game is on Game Pass and more.
