Palworld offers a variety of human factions within its game world, including Merchant NPCs who will sell you schematics, ingredients, seeds, resources, and even Pals.
While finding gold - the main currency in Palworld - is relatively easy, finding ways to spend this gold can be difficult. The game's map shows bosses, teleport waypoints, and a few other key locations, but not Merchants.
Where to find a Merchant in Palworld
In Palworld, you can find Merchant NPCs east of Marsh Island Church Ruins at 433, -274 coordinates. To make things easier, we have shared the Merchant's exact location in the screenshot below:
If you've unlocked the Marsh Island or the Marsh Island Church Ruins waypoint, you can teleport there and make your way to the merchant's location. But if you haven't, Marsh Island is located east of Plateau of Beginnings and is also one of the spawn locations you get whenever you die.
So drop all of your items in the chest and eliminate yourself by aggravating a Pal, or simply use the 'respawn' option in the pause menu. After that, choose the Marsh Island spawn point. Activate the nearby waypoint and head to the above location.
Here, you can talk to the blue Pal Merchant to buy and sell Pals (more on that here) or the red Wandering Merchant to buy and sell items.

The blue Pal Merchant in Palworld sells Pals you can purchase in exchange for gold. The merchant located in Marsh Island, in particular, sells the following Pals:
