Is Palworld open world?
Here is everything you need to know about whether or not Palworld will feature an open world or if Pocket Pair have opted for a different approach to its world.
Before diving into the survival game Palworld, you’re going to want to know if it features an open world, or if it will take a different approach. The game will see players trying to catch creatures, called Pals, to help with base building and surviving in the world.
Not only will you be accompanied by your companion Pals, but you can also equip them (and yourself) with guns to take on any challenges you may come across. It's very clear the game takes inspiration from Pokémon whilst adding its own flavour, so keep reading below to see if it has a similar approach to its world or not.
Does Palworld feature an open world?
Palworld will feature an open world, one that can be freely explored as you try to find furry companions. As the game progresses, you will even be able to use the Pals to help with traversal in the world including flying.
Throughout the world you will find plenty of different Pals you can catch and even boss Pals that can also be caught. On top of finding new Pals to keep you company, you will also need to explore to find resources for crafting and perfecting your base. It will all feed into a loop relying on the world Pocket Pair has built.
That is all you need to know about the open world in Palworld. If you’re on the lookout for even more guides, check out our Palworld homepage where we have outlined the system requirements, whether or not the game is on Game Pass and more.
