PAYDAY is back, and after nearly ten years without a new game, we finally have PAYDAY 3 arriving. The good news? We can play it soon.
PAYDAY 3, like those that have come before in the series, is a four-person co-op shooter that will require players to perform heists to earn even better rewards. It has always been a great game to play with friends, and a new game in the series is very welcome.

PAYDAY 3 release date
PAYDAY 3 is set to come ten years after the second game was released, with it given a release date of September 21. Originally, we only knew a release year for the game, but this was recently made more exact at the Xbox Showcase 2023.

PAYDAY 3 trailers
The first teaser trailer for PAYDAY 3 arrived on May 8, 2023, and doesn't give a lot away. Still, it does confirm a gameplay reveal is coming in Summer 2023.
Then came the Xbox Showcase gameplay trailer, which can be seen above. This saw our first look at combat for our mask-wearing heisters.

PAYDAY 3 gameplay
As we begin to approach the release of the game, more and more information has been released about what we will be getting up to this September. PAYDAY 3 is not a reinvention of what we have seen before, once again focusing on four players trying to execute a heist as part of a team.

What platforms will PAYDAY 3 be on?
PAYDAY 3 is confirmed to be released for the PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. At this time, it does not look like the game will be coming to the previous generation of consoles or Nintendo Switch. So, for a full list of platforms, you can expect it on:

- PlayStation 5
- Xbox Series X|S
