The Pokemon GO Shop has loads of useful items that can make your life a little bit easier, whether you're battling other Trainers or attempting to catch 'em all.

With changing prices and rotating boxes, it can be hard to keep track of what's available - which is why we've put together a roundup of everything in the Shop right now, including the price of every item and how to get more PokeCoins.

Pokemon GO Shop Boxes

Here are all of the boxes you can purchase this week and the contents inside of them:

Box Contents Cost
Beginner Box 1x Super Incubator, 15x Poke Balls, 5x Great Balls, 1x Lucky Egg 150 PokeCoins
Daily Free Box A random selection of items (usually Poke Balls, Berries, or Potions) Free
Trainee Box 50x PokeBalls, 1x Lucky Egg 180 PokeCoins
Voyager Box 12x Super Incubator, 6x Egg Incubator, 2x Poffin 1750 PokeCoins

While these paid-for boxes should offer some kind of discount overall, it's worth checking how much it would cost to purchase the items you want individually, especially as you won't always need every item in a box.

There's also a Wonder Ticket available to purchase for £9.99 throughout the World of Wonders season. This ticket will include three Timed Research opportunities with rewards including a Poipole Helmet avatar item.

Alongside that, Trainers can also find a ticket for this year's Pokemon GO Fest for £14.00, which is available to purchase right up until July 14, 2024.

You can grab a selection of cute little stickers here, from adorable Pikachu and Jigglypuff designs to some sillier ones or a simple 'thank you!' variant.

How much do PokeCoins cost?

PokeCoins can be purchased with real-life money from the in-game Shop. The more you buy, the higher the discount you'll receive, although the value for money of PokeCoins in general is up for debate.

Here are all of the PokeCoin bundles you can get in the Shop right now:

PokeCoin Bundle Cost
100 PokeCoins £0.99
550 PokeCoins £4.99
1200 PokeCoins £9.99
2500 PokeCoins £19.99
5200 PokeCoins £39.99
14500 PokeCoins £99.99

It's worth checking the web store before purchasing PokeCoins or Boxes in the app as they are sometimes discounted on there.

Is there a way to earn free PokeCoins?

You can earn PokeCoins for free by defending Gyms. If a Gym is in your team's colour and there's room for an extra Pokemon (they can hold a maximum of six Pokemon at a time), get close and place a Pokemon in it!

If a Gym isn't in your team's colour, you can challenge the Pokemon defending it to a battle. You might need to defeat them a few times before they're kicked out, but once they are, you'll have first dibs on claiming the Gym for your team.

Any Pokemon you place in a Gym will have to fend off attacks from other teams. How long it lasts will depend on how high its CP is, whether it has a good moveset, and how popular the location is - more Trainers means higher turnover.

Because of this, my best advice for earning free PokeCoins is to find a Gym in a rural location and claim it with your strongest Pokemon. Use the Today View to keep track of its health and feed it Berries if it gets close to fainting.

Many players don't spend a penny on the game and still enjoy it, especially when you can earn free PokeCoins by defending Gyms, so there's no reason you need to spend money unless there's a ticketed event you want to take part in.
