Oricorio is a special 'mon that has multiple forms to encounter, so if you're looking to catch them all in Pokemon GO - or you want to know if they can be Shiny - I've got the answers you need!

While most Pokemon have a simple evolution chain, some species have different forms instead. Oriocorio is one of these, with a Baile Style, Pa'u Style, Pom-Pom Style, and Sensu Style available to catch in the game depending on where you are in the world.

How to get all Oricorio forms in Pokemon GO

Here are all of the Oricorio forms in Pokemon GO and where you can catch each one:

Oricorio form How to get it What it looks like
Baile Style Spawns in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa Baile Style Oricorio
Pa’u Style Spawns in African, Asian, Pacific, and Caribbean islands Pa'u Style Oricorio
Pom-Pom Style Spawns in the Americas Pom-Pom Style Oricorio
Sensu Style Spawns in the Asia-Pacific region Sensu Style Oricorio

You'll only be able to catch the Oricorio form that appears in your region, but remember you can always trade with another Trainer who has the form you need!

While it would be nice to have every Oricorio form in your collection, you only need to catch one of them for the Pokedex entry to be filled in - so don't worry too much if you can't get all four!

Are there any differences between Oricorio forms?

The main difference between the Oricorio forms is their typing:

  • Baile Style – Fire/Flying-type
  • Pa'u Style – Psychic/Flying-type
  • Pom-Pom Style – Electric/Flying-type
  • Sensu Style – Ghost/Flying-type

Despite having different subtypes, each Oricorio form has access to the same moveset consisting of Normal and Flying-type attacks, so they don't really get to take advantage of their differences.

Is Shiny Oricorio available to catch?

The good news is that all four forms of Oricorio can now be Shiny in Pokemon Go! You can see what they look like in the image below.

Shiny Oricorio forms in Pokemon GO

These rare variants made their debut on February 13, 2024, as part of the Carnival of Love event to celebrate Valentine's Day. As with any Shiny, they're going to be hard to find, so you'll need a mix of luck and patience.

There's no way to increase your chances of finding a Shiny, so it's simply a case of tapping on as many as you can and hoping for the best.

That's everything you need to know about Oricorio forms! Visit our Pokemon GO homepage for more guides like this one, including the Spotlight Hour schedule and all of the current Raid Bosses you can battle.
