The latest Prince of Persia instalment, The Lost Crown, is home to plenty of challenging bosses who are always ready to assassinate Sargon. These enemies range from powerful human fighters to deadly animals that can be difficult to defeat if you’re unaware of their movesets and attack patterns.

Luckily, we have you covered with a comprehensive list of all bosses in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, followed by a detailed cheat sheet to help you defeat all of them in the game.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown boss list

Here’s a list of the major bosses that you will encounter in The Lost Crown:

  1. General Uvishka
  2. Sword Master
  3. Undead Prisoner
  4. Erlik
  5. Jahandar
  6. Vahram
  7. Kiana
  8. Azhdaha

General Uvishka

General Uvishka Prince of Persia The Lost Crown

During the Battle of Persepolis' main quest, you've got to take down General Uvishka, the leader of the invading Kushan army. He's the first major boss you'll encounter, and dealing with him is tricky because Sargon doesn't have a ton of abilities to work with.

In the first phase, the general stays on his warhorse and swings his spear widely. If you're a bit far from him, Uvishka will lift up his horse and slam down with his trident, dealing some serious damage. To gain more time in the fight, make sure to dodge or parry that attack.

In the second phase, he dismounts from the horse, but don't let your guard down – he's still a threat. Therefore, make sure to watch out for his thrusting moves. To counter it, you have to press R2, slide beneath his attacks, and strike from behind. He'll use a similar thrusting attack, and when he lands, there's a shockwave. Just like in the first phase, jump over it, keep sliding under his attacks, and hit him from behind.

Sword Master

Prince of Persia The Lost Crown Sword Master Boss

The Sword Master is the second major boss that you’ll encounter during the Battle of Persepolis quest. The boss has a pretty slow pace, making it simpler to predict his moves. So, save your dodges for his unblockable attacks, and concentrate mainly on parrying the rest. If you attempt to parry when the Sword Master's eyes glow red, his attack will land and deal nearly double the usual damage.

The easiest way to defeat the Sword Master is to get hit enough times to fully charge your Athra Surge. When you activate your Athra Surge ability, you dash toward the enemy with a powerful strike that breaks through defences.

Undead Prisoner

Prince of Persia The Lost Crown Undead Prisoner Boss

Undead Prisoner is the pillar-wielding giant monster who spawns in the Lower City during the Lost in Mount Qaf quest. Before heading to the fight, make sure to visit The Mage’s shop in The Haven area and use your Time Crystals to increase the number of Healing Potions for Sargon.

Unlike other enemies, you can’t perform a combo on the Undead Prisoner by launching him into the air. Instead, you have to watch his eyes carefully as they will flash yellow or red, indicating how to respond. It’s important to note that only the yellow eye attack can be parried and maintain a safe distance while his eyes are red.

Erlik

Prince of Persia The Lost Crown Erlik Boss

Erlik is the general of the Forest Queen who resides in The Lost Crown’s Autumnal Forest. The pig-looking boss performs four different attacks:

  • Poison Spit
  • Forward Charge
  • Back Kick
  • Tusk Slash

Unfortunately, the majority of her attacks cannot be parried, except for the Tusk Slash. To beat this boss, stick to the walls at the edge of the arena and dodge Erlik’s Forward Charge. You can always leap over Erlik before the boar raises its head to knock you down. When you are on the ground near Erlik, strike as hard as you can to finish the boss off.

Jahandar

Prince of Persia The Lost Crown Jahandar Boss Fight

Jahandar is a manticore that blocks your way when you're trying to find Prince Ghassan in the Lower City. In the first phase, the boss's Poison Sting Attack is a stab that can be avoided by dodging towards the boss, allowing you to attack it without touching the poison pool.

The boss can also perform a melee swing towards you, which can be dodged or parried. After losing some HP, the second phase kicks off with a cutscene. In this phase, the Poison Sting Attack is followed by an eruption from under your character, so be ready to dodge when you see it approaching.

The boss can backjump and throw poison arrows at you, which can be parried to damage the boss or dodged. When the boss flies up, make sure you keep running in one direction and then turn to attack once it's landed.

In this final stage, the boss will do a head thrust after a melee attack, so be ready to dodge or parry the follow-up. The boss can also perform a tail sweep if you're behind it during a melee swing, so be careful.

Vahram

Prince of Persia The Lost Crown Vahram Boss

Vahram is one of the challenging bosses in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, as he can perform a variety of different attacks that are indicated by a red slash. As his HP decreases, Vahram becomes more violent and launches chain combos that cannot be blocked or parried.

Here is the list of attacks that Vahram can perform during the fight:

  • Energy Balls
  • Fire Blast
  • Daggers
  • Laser Attack
  • Shield Attack
  • Sword Combo
  • Shadow Strike

There are three phases in this boss fight and a fourth phase with Sargon. To complete each phase, Vahram’s health has to be brought down to 0, which will expose the Heart of the Simurgh inside a shell. The shell has to be destroyed to make Vahram rewind time and begin the next phase. In the final phase, Sargon will fight alongside Vahram with the Simurgh’s blessing.

Kiana

Prince of Persia The Lost Crown Kiana Boss

Kiana, also known as The Forest Queen, spawns near the Soma Tree during The Path to the Sand Prison quest. This boss fight has three distinct phases, but they do have their similarities. In the first phase, Kiana will open with a standard attack, so just dodge and get a few hits in. She'll alternate that with some aerial attacks, so watch for the wind, dodge out of the way, and quickly try to destroy purple orbs.

When she's down to a quarter of health, you'll be transported to the Shadow realm. During the final phase, the wolf jumps from the shadow, which will do more of a slow breath attack. You want to perfectly time an air dodge, and the only other new move you'll see is when they individually dive at you.

Azhdaha

Prince of Persia The Lost Crown Azhdaha Boss

Azhdaha is the final boss in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, and as you may expect, you will run into several different moves that progressively get a little bit complicated as the fight goes on. As usual, the fight is broken up into three different phases.

In phase one, you have a red move, which is just a standard quick attack, as well as a quick tail sweep. So dodge those and return with some light damage. The next move involves slow-moving projectiles, so the best way to get around this one is by alternating blocks with dodges. Finally, Azahar will summon orbs that fall from the sky. All you need to do is whip out your dimensional claw and then throw it back in her face to finish the first phase.

From this point on, you will get the opportunity to perform a vengeful parry. Therefore, make sure to leap over the tail sweep and then parry in the air. Always try to position yourself in the middle of the arena she performs a breath attack.

For phase three, her quick attack will upgrade again, and it involves a tail sweep and two quick bites. You'll have to leap in the air, perform an air dodge, and then hit the ground.

That wraps up our complete list of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown's major bosses. Check out our Prince of Persia homepage for more guides. You can also find our coverage of the achievement listdifficulty settings, and the voice actors.
