As we approach the release date for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, it's time to look towards what's on offer with each edition, as well as what you can get by pre-ordering the game. The latest instalment in the Prince of Persia series arrives on January 18, so if you do want the pre-order bonus, you don’t have long!
The next entry takes the game in a different direction from what we have seen before, with the latest release entering the Metroidvania genre for the first time with gameplay highlighting boss fights, side-scrolling action, and plenty of exploration in a reinvention for the franchise.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown pre-order bonuses
If you pre-order the game before January 18 then you will receive an extra skin to use when playing the game. This skin features the armour worn in the 2004 game Prince of Persia: Warrior Within.
That game has a 91 user score on Metacritic, making it one of the most successful games in the series so far. You can see the pre-order bonus armour in the picture above.
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Digital Deluxe Edition
The only other edition of the game that is not the Standard Edition is the Digital Deluxe Edition, which offers a bunch of extra rewards on top of the above pre-order bonus for anyone who does buy the game early.
The Digital Deluxe Edition is only available digitally as the name would suggest, but you can usually upgrade to this edition on the storefront of your chosen platform.
