Is there fast travel in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown?
Here's everything you need to know about whether or not there is fast travel in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, as well as how to use it.
As you begin to explore more and more in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, you may begin to wonder if there is fast travel. The game has a huge map, with a ton of locations and plenty of different items for you to find from amulets to skins.
This reinvention sees the series opt for a new genre, leaving behind the parkour-heavy action/adventure 3D style and instead transitioning to a 2D Metroidvania - so fast travel will certainly be handy due to all the backtracking you'll be doing
Does Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown have fast travel?
The good news is yes, there is fast travel in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, but the checkpoints that you can travel from are sporadically spread out across the map.
That means there are 22 fast travel points in the game, which isn’t that many once you've seen the full size of the map - but you will find plenty of shortcuts as you unlock new abilities.
How to fast travel in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown?
To fast travel, just go to one of the fast travel points and follow the instructions below:
- Move the left stick up, following the prompt on the screen
- Now it will open the map
- From here you can cycle through the different locations and select where you want to go
The first fast travel point I came across was the Sacred Archives but you could easily find a different one first if you missed a previous one.
