Making sure you preload Redfall is important if you want to jump on the game from the very first moment you can. We are quickly approaching the release date for the latest game from Arkane, and making sure Redfall is pre-installed before the release will help save time for you and your pals in this multiplayer adventure.

How to preload Redfall on Xbox Series X|S? 

If you’re unsure of how to preload on Xbox Series S|X then follow the steps below: 

  • Fire up your console
  • Go to the search bar at the top 
  • Type in Redfall 
  • Select Redfall from the options below 
  • There will be an install early option, select it. 
  • Now you wait until release and it will be good to go

When is the preload? 

The good news here is the Redfall preload is already available now, right in time for the release in early May. Xbox players can preload Redfall the game via the store – or via Xbox Game Pass if they’re subscribed. PC Gamers can preload the game using the Windows Store too.

How big is the Preload? 

The preload is a different size depending on where you’re downloading the game. For Xbox Series S players Redfall is coming in at 40GB, while on the Xbox Series X, it is saying 86GB, and on PC it is currently saying 103GB. It is worth noting that this may change as we get even closer to release.
