All classes in Remnant 2: Every archetype listed
There are many Remnant 2 archetypes to choose from, including the battle-hardy Challenger to the Handler that has a helpful dog by their side.
All Remnant 2 archetypes have a role to play in the game. For example, a Gunslinger can shoot down their enemies quickly with a high fire rate and lots of ammo to spare. Meanwhile, a Medic keeps the group healthy during tough battles. Here are all of the Remnant 2 archetypes to be aware of.
- Remnant 2 was one of the biggest games of July 2023
All beginner classes in Remnant 2
There are up to five Remnant 2 archetypes to choose from when you first start the game. Others will be available to you during the co-op campaign. You'll start off with the following:
- A Medic that regenerates Relic charges by healing themselves or the group, in addition to reviving fallen comrades
- The Hunter shoots down foes from afar with sniper rifle rounds. They can also apply marks to their enemies at a rapid pace and they're able to hide within shrouds
- The beefy Challenger wears a suit of armour and acts as the tank of the group. They can let out their rage, which has a ton of buffs behind it. They can also cause tremors around them, dishing out damage
- A Handler, who has a pet dog companion with them can help nullify damage, and the dog can act as a distraction. The dog can also increase your team's party output with an inspiring howl
- If you preordered Remnant 2, you'll also have the Gunslinger from the get-go. They can increase their fire rate and reload speed exponentially with ranged weapons. It also has a lot of ammo with moves like Sidewinder, which reloads your firearms whenever they're swapped out
It's a shame that the last Remnant 2 archetype mentioned isn't available to everyone straight away. It's a good thing that you can unlock it later on.
- Unfortunately, Remnant 2 isn't on Xbox Game Pass. It would make it far easier to play with your friends and family
Other Remnant 2 archetypes you can unlock
There are a bunch of other classes you can find as you progress through the game. You can actually switch between them during the campaign. They include:
- Summoner
- Alchemist
- Explorer
- Engineer
- Invader
With all of these Remnant 2 archetypes, you can justify multiple playthroughs of the game with your friends. Hopefully, they can run the game well on PC because there's no crossplay between each system.
