How to solve the Resident Evil 4 clock puzzle
Check out our guide on the Resident Evil clock puzzle, the solution to which changes depending on what difficulty you are playing on.
The Resident Evil 4 Remake is very similar to the original version, but the game has some moments that have been expanded on massively. For example, the Ashley section has been revamped in the remake, making it creepier as you skulk about in the dark to free Leon.
So, if you want a full solution for the clock puzzle, we've got you covered.
How to solve the clock puzzle
During Chapter 9 of Resident Evil 4 Remake, you will take control of Ashley while you are forced to run around a library, escaping from suits of armor controlled by the Las Plagas.
In this section, you need to figure out how to solve a clock puzzle by moving the hands to a specific time. When you first come across the clock, you won't know the solution, so you'll need to spend a lot of time wandering around and finding it out.
If you just want to skip the section due to how scary it can be, or you're just in a second run and want to get back to playing Leon, read on.
The solution to the clock puzzle changes depending on the difficulty you are on. Here are the clock times, along with the difficulties:
- 11:04 - Assisted, Normal
- 7:00 - Hardcore, Professional
Changing the clock hands to reflect the above times is easy enough, just requiring you to interact with the clock and set the small hand to the hour, and the long hand to the minute.
We also cover how to unlock Resident Evil 4 Remake Cat Ears and infinite ammo, which is the hardest challenge in the game.
