Where are all the rats in the Abandoned Factory?
You must find three Rats in the Abandoned Factory area and kill them to complete the Pest Control side quest. Thankfully, unlike the higher-tier Pest Control missions, the Rats in the Abandoned Factory area are found in the same building and close to one another.

Rat location 1
Once you take on the Pest Control quest using the Blue Request Note, found next to the Merchant outside the Abandoned Factory, make your way inside the Factory and take the iron door leading to the corridor to the main section.
Right at the corner, you will find the first rat. You can use your knife or handgun to kill the rat and progress the quest.

Rat location 2
The second rat is located in the main room of the Abandoned Factory. So, follow the corridor, vault through the window on your right, and you will find the second rat running in circles.
The rat takes the same path, so you can time the attack and kill it using your knife or use your gun to take it out quickly.
Rat location 3
The third rat is located near the second rat's location. Move a little forward and turn right when you encounter the bear trap. You will find a furnace with a treasure.

You can grab that for some extra Peseta, aka Ptas, which serves as the primary currency in Resident Evil 4 Remake for buying items, weapons, upgrades, and other such things.
That said, you will find the third rat left of the furnace. Kill it to complete the Pest Control mission. You can go back to the Merchant outside the Abandoned Factory to turn in the quest and get three Spinel as a reward.
