Cabinet code to open the door in the Village Chief's Manor in Resident Evil 4 Remake

The Resident Evil 4 Remake is now here, giving a whole new generation of players a way to experience the classic action horror game on new consoles.
While there are some major and minor changes to the game, it keeps the core of Resident Evil, and obviously features a lot of puzzles. So, if you need the solution to one of the first puzzles you'll come across, check out our guide to find the cabinet code.
Cabinet code
During the second chapter of Resident Evil 4 Remake, you'll arrive from the factory area of the village map and come across the Village Chief's Manor.
When you head inside, it's relatively empty save for a few items, a locked door upstairs, and a ganado that can be found inside the toilet.
One thing you will notice though, is that in the kitchen, there is a cabinet with a special lock on it that features three rotating dials with pictures. You will need to unlock this cabinet if you want to progress past the upstairs door and complete the chapter.
To find out the Resident Evil 4 Remake cabinet code, start by making your way upstairs. Just before you get to the locked door, you will find a text file called Illumindos 4:3, which contains the following the passage:
"In great veneration of their master, the people offered up their most prized possessions.
The old farmer, his finest crop.
The slight swineherd, his stoutest pig.
The beggarly grandam, her own beloved babe.
The master saw these gifts and was pleased."
In this passage, the words in bold give you a hint towards the cabinet code.
Head back down to the locked cabinet, interact with the lock, and from left to right select the following pictures:
- Crops
- Pig
- Baby
Confirm the code after entering it, and the cabinet will open, allowing you to pick up the Crystal Ball inside.
You can now take this Crystal Ball to the upstairs door and place it inside. You then need to rotate it so the air bubbles inside line up with the las plagas icon in the slot. This will open the door for you, allowing you to continue your playthrough.
