The original Resident Evil turned the franchise into more of an action-based horror series, and while the remake dials up the horror and atmosphere of the game, it retains the same focus. This means you'll have access to more weapons than ever, but with that comes a need to acquire even more ammo.

So, take a look at our breakdown of crafting ammo in Resident Evil 4 Remake.

How do you craft ammo in Resident Evil 4 Remake?

Crafting ammo is key to your survival, as it's one of the main ways to get more ammo for your guns.

There are seven ammo types for the game's 22 weapons, along with misc items like flash grenades or heavy grenades, which can also be crafted after buying the recipes from the Merchant.

After selecting one of the materials, you can select 'Craft' and then choose the recipe from a small list. The materials needed are also clearly displayed here, so it should always be clear what materials will be used.

After you have crafted ammo, it will be placed directly in your inventory, and you can begin to use it with your weapons.
