How do you get S rank?
In Resident Evil 4 Remake, when you finish a playthrough, you will be given an overall ranking based on the difficulty level and completion time along with some extra factors like saves in some circumstances.
To get the S rank, you can either complete the game with a fresh save, or use a new game plus to carry over your weapons, money, and more. However, you will need to finish the game in the following times based on the chosen difficulty:
- Assisted - Under four hours.
- Standard - Under five hours.
- Hardcore - Under five and a half hours.
- Professional - Under five and a half hours.
You can use the three unlockable weapons from the extra content shop: the Chicago Sweeper, Primal Knife, and Handcannon.
You will need to finish the game in the following times based on the chosen difficulty:
- Assisted - Under four hours.
- Standard - Under five hours.
- Hardcore - Under five and a half hours.
- Professional - Under five and a half hours with a maximum of 15 saves.
Achieving the S and S+ ranks can be very difficult, but if you practice enough, familiarise yourself with the game, and make use of extra content like the weapons or Ashley's suit of armor, you'll be able to get them in no time.
