Here’s how to get more Medicine Pills in Rise of the Ronin & upgrade them
Here is everything you need to know about getting more Medicine Pills in Rise of the Ronin and how you can upgrade them to be more effective.
Medicine Pills are one of the most important items in Rise of the Ronin, these are your permanent healable items and will often be relied on to get out of a jam, so it’s vital to know how to get more. You can also upgrade the Medicine Pills to be more effective so I’ll cover that too.
You won’t be able to upgrade these immediately, but as the story progresses and you’ve explored more regions it will become noticeable just how important boosting the Medicine Pills is in the game. So here is everything you need to know.
How to get more Medicine Pills
Fortunately, you can find Medicine Pills all over the place including on slain enemies. However, the amount you get back once you rest is limited. Medicine Pills will never be taken away, but if you rest with one left you’ll only get back up to four - unless you assign your Skill Points right.
- Strength: In column one, row three there is one additional refill
- Dexterity: Column one, row four there is one additional refill
- Charm: Column one, row four one additional refill
- Intellect: Column one, row two one additional refill
- You can upgrade this one more time to get two extra refills
How to make Medicine Pills more effective
To improve the Medicine Pills, you’re going to need to upgrade the first column in the Intellect skill tree to reach the fourth row. The fourth skill can be levelled five times and improves the efficiency of Medicine Pills greatly. Like I said in our best early skills guide, you will need to dip into each skill tree to succeed.
That’s all there is to know about Medicine Pills and making them even better. For more guides, check out our Rise of the Ronin homepage where we have already covered how to upgrade the glider, how to fast travel and how to change your appearance.
