Saints Row System Requirements
For players looking to get the most out of Saints Row, you will need a fairly advanced rig with a strong CPU and at least 12 GB of RAM, though we would recommend 16 GB to keep your performance consistent. As an open world adventure game, Saints Row has a lot going on at a given time, and this is where you're most likely to lose performance as the game needs to constantly simulate a wide area. There are also a lot of performance issues as reported in our Saints Row review, so weaker systems may suffer a lot until some of those issues are fixed. Here are the minimum and recommended requirements that your hardware should meet if you hope to get steady performance.
Saints Row Minimum Requirements
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit
- Processor: Intel Core i3-3240 / AMD Ryzen 3 1200
- Memory: 8 GB
- Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 970 / AMD Radeon RX 480
- DirectX: DX11
- Storage: 50 GB
Saints Row Recommended Requirements
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit
- Processor: Intel Core i7-6700K / AMD Ryzen 5 1500X
- Memory: 12 GB
- Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 1070 / AMD Radeon RX 5700
- DirectX: DX12
- Storage: 50 GB SSD
For the minimum specifications, you should be able to consistently reach 30 fps at 1080p, while the recommended specs allow for a consistent 60 fps. If you're looking to push the resolution even higher and still keep a strong frame rate, you will need at least 16 GB of RAM and a more powerful CPU, but tinkering with the settings until you're happy with the performance is always the best method.
That's all for our primer on the Saints Row system requirements, and now you know what the minimum and recommended specifications are, along with some of the hardware you'll need for the higher resolutions.
