All cheats for The Sims 4 High School Years, from Sentiments to traits

High School Years in The Sims 4 has plenty of cheats that'll help to take your Teen Sims from zero to hero in a flash, with codes to give them specific traits for their life stage and more.

Cheats in the game are a fantastic way to help propel a storyline along a little quicker or to take it in a slightly different direction, so whether you want one of your Sims to graduate as a Valedictorian or get expelled, the High School Years Expansion Pack has a fair few to use.

Sentiments in The Sims 4 give Sims specific relationships and memories with other Sims in the world. With High School Years, new sentiments were added that centre around teen life and prom.

To give two Sims a particular sentiment, you'll need to use this cheat: modifyrelationship (Sim1) (Sim2) 100 sentimenttrack_

At the end of that code, you'll then add the relevant sentiment from the below list:

For example, as shown in the below screenshot, if you want to add the 'Crush' sentiment between two Sims, you'd use this code, replacing the names of my Sims with your own:

Teens can get part-time jobs whilst at high school, and as there are for most careers, you can use codes to promote a Sim in them:

To demote them instead, replace the word 'promote' with 'demote' in the above codes. These will only work on Teen Sims, however, and you'll need to use a set of different career cheats for Sims older than that life stage.

Four new Aspirations arrived in High School Years, some of which award players with new traits when completing them, alongside ones relating to a Sim graduating or dropping out of high school.

How to use cheats

Now that you've had a rundown of all the different cheats available to you with High School Years, you'll want to make sure you know how to use them. It's a pretty simple thing to do if it's something you've got no experience with, so follow these steps:

• If you're on PC, you'll want to press CTRL, Shift, C
• Mac users can press Command, Shift, C
• Console gamers, you'll need to hold in all four shoulder buttons of your controller

After you've done that, a white box will appear in the top-left of your screen. It's here where you'll enter all of the codes shown above.
