Slime Rancher 2 Squirrel Statues: Where To Find Ringtail Slimes
As mentioned, during the day Ringtail Slimes will appear as statues and will only animate during the night. Ringtail Slimes can be found randomly across the Ember Valley and Starlight Strand maps, you'll be more likely to run into them in the pink region of the Starlight Strand map, however, particularly near the Ringtail Gordo. Prime spawn locations are indicated on the map above, within the pink region there is a valley of waterfalls and ponds at varying levels, this is usually where Ringtail Slimes will come out at night.
You can also collect over 10 Ringtail Slimes upon defeating the Ringtail Gordo. Once it explodes, a large group of smaller Slimes will erupt. You can collect these and take them back to the Conservatory for a steady supply of Ringtail Plorts.
Slime Rancher 2: Where To Find The Ringtail Gordo
The above map indicates the location of the Ringtail Gordo, within the Starlight Strand. Defeating the Gordo will yield an additional teleport from Rainbow Field to the pink region of Starlight Strand. To defeat it, feed the Gordo 30+ food. This can be any Veggie or Meat as the Ringtail Slime is an omnivore without a favourite food.
During the day, the Gordo will appear as a giant squirrel statue. As such, you'll only be able to defeat the Gordo during night hours.
