How to change arrow type in Sons of the Forest
Here's how to easily change arrow type in survival game Sons of the Forest, so you can switch it up whenever you need to use different arrows in the game.
Arrows can be pretty essential in Sons of the Forest, so it's important to know how to change arrow type in the game.
Luckily, this guide is here to help you out if you're not sure how to do it. It's not too complicated, but finding different arrow types is where things get tricky.
How to change arrow type
Before you can change arrow type, make sure you have multiple different arrows in your inventory. Then, equip your bow.
With your bow equipped, look down and press the R key to cycle between each arrow type you currently own. Select the one you want and it'll be applied to your bow.
Now you can shoot that particular arrow, and if you need to change it back you can do it all over again to switch to whatever arrow you need.
All arrow types in Sons of the Forest
Here's a list of all the different arrow types in Sons of the Forest. There's not a huge number of them, but here they are regardless:
Arrows | How to obtain |
Stone Arrows | 4x small rocks, 2x sticks and feathers |
Carbon Fiber Arrows | Lootable from camps and containers |
3D Printed Arrows | Printer Resin + 3D Printer |
As you can see, there are only a couple of different arrows you can actually craft. Then there are arrows found in specific places on the map, which you can't actually craft yourself.
You can also find the Compound Bow which is much better than the standard one you can craft. I'd recommend seeking this out eventually if you don't have it yet as it'll deal with enemies much more effectively.
